At Counselling Alliance, your safety and wellbeing are our highest priority. We are committed to creating a secure, respectful, and supportive environment for all clients, including children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

All practitioners working with Counselling Alliance are self‑employed, qualified professionals who follow strict safeguarding standards. This includes:

•                               Maintaining professional boundaries

•                               Following ethical codes of practice

•                               Completing safeguarding training

•                               Holding appropriate DBS checks

•                               Reporting concerns promptly and appropriately

If a practitioner becomes aware that you or someone else may be at risk of harm, they may need to share information with the Safeguarding Lead or relevant authorities. This is always done with care, respect, and only when necessary to protect safety.

Designated Safeguarding Lead:

Rachel Higginson – Owner, Counselling Alliance

If you have any concerns about safety or wellbeing within our service, you are encouraged to speak directly with Rachel.
