Meet Helen

Helen is one of our qualified and experienced counsellors.

Hi I’m Helen, After a background working within learning disability services for 19 years, i began to notice a strength and passion for working with neuro diversity. I spent a few more years working within schools, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural learning difficulties and although i loved it i noticed the emotional care felt lacking. I then retrained as a counsellor over 10 years ago and i feel i have now found the right place and fit for me. I love seeing how p-people can thrive within the counselling client relationship and seeing the empowerment of gaining control and feeling less stuck within life.

When I’m not working i really enjoy reading crime novels and on a nice day will walk for miles. I do like losing myself in Netflix or going out with friends for a drink, good food and anything music based.
